PGA practices a collaborative ideology and relies on its association with different firms which contribute and enrich the development of the projects. Among its recent works we find the Master Plan for Río Manzanares and the project of Madrid Río, which is the largest and most significant urban operation in the Spanish capital. The project, has received numerous national and international awards such as the 2016 Hispania Nostra and the Veronica Rudge Green Prize by Harvard University in 2015.
The team approach is based on a sustainable perspective and covers the whole spectrum from urban planning to the architecture discipline, from design strategies to master plans, from the materialization of large-scale projects to their smallest details. The philosophy behind the firm is based on the sensitivity to cultures and the meanings we found in each site, in addition to the combination with the latest construction advances and techniques learned from vernacular architecture. With a methodology used over the past ten years, we strengthen the skills, enthusiasm and knowledge of our teams, clients and involved communities in order to create inspiring environments and a rich shared knowledge.
